Excitement runs high at Christ Temple Pentecostal Church since moving into our new building to magnify and exalt the name of Jesus Christ. However, the first thing we want you to notice is the tender presence of God in our worship. We strive for joyful worship, warm fellowship and relevant teachings from His Word – a combination that touches the heart and lifts the soul, while yet praying you feel God through the power of the Holy Ghost.
If you are looking for a church to do God's work in God's way, this is the place for you. We want to be a blessing and provide an opportunity of service for you.
We would be honored to have you and your family as our guest. Our sincere desire is that you would feel at home with us. Our doors are open wide to everyone, and our hearts shut to no one seeking to find a safe place for spiritual growth and fellowship.
Together we are working to become the church we believe Jesus wants us to be.
If you don’t have a church home, please consider joining us as we commit our lives in prayer, lift our hearts in worship, and extend our hands to serve in Jesus Name. If you have a church home, we want to extend our sincere appreciation to you for being our web guest. An open invitation stands for you to join us anytime you are in our area.
Greetings in the name of Jesus,
I pray the month of June finds all encouraged and excited about living for God! Wonderful things have been happening at CTPC with our recent revival and services that God has moved powerfully in. Let's continue to pray and fast for revival because many times the blessings of the Lord cause us to slack off in our efforts of serving Him. Remember it's still about Him, we can't do it without Him!
The psalmist said, "Forsake me not, O Lord." --Psalm 38:21
Frequently we pray that God would not forsake us in the hour of trial and temptation, but we too much forget that we need to use this prayer at all times. There is no moment of our life, however holy, in which we can do without His constant upholding. Whether in light or in darkness, in communion or in temptation, we still need the prayer, "Forsake me not, O Lord." "Hold Thou me up, and I shall be safe." A little child, while learning to walk, always needs the mother's aid. The ship left by the pilot drifts at once from her course. We cannot do without continued aid from above; let it then be your prayer to-day, 'Forsake me not, O Lord,' now; and forsake me not at any moment of my life. Forsake me not in my joys, lest they absorb my heart. Forsake me not in my sorrows, lest I murmur against Thee. Forsake me not in the day of my repentance, lest I lose the hope of mercy, and fall into despair; and forsake me not in the day of my strongest faith. Forsake me not, for without Thee I am weak, but with Thee I am strong. Forsake me not, for my path is dangerous, and full of snares, and I cannot do without Thy guidance. The hen forsakes not her brood, do Thou then evermore cover me under Thy wings to find my refuge. 'Be not far from me, O Lord, for trouble is near, for there is none to help.' 'Leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation!'"
God Bless,
Bro. McClure
